Lenten Resolutions

How we do'in?
My main Lenten resolution was to do more spiritual reading. I think I did more, compared to pre-Lent, but that isn't saying much. Two weeks to go!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

How about you guys?

Is it over yet?? I set the bar higher this year than ever before. I feel totally banged up. Without going into too much detail, this Lent I was going for three things:

1. a physical sacrifice
2. regular acts of service
3. Devotion to Mary (praying the 33 day total consecration by St. Louis De Montefort).

I actually completed day 33 of the total Consecration to Mary tonight (I started in on Ash Wednesday, 3/1)...tomorrow I'll make my devotion.

As I already mentioned, it has been tough. For the remaining 2 weeks I need to really consentrate and offer up my sacrifices to the Lord (I've been a little more cranky than usual and full of self-pity...gotta kick that).

Great question. Thanks for asking. Hope to hear from the rest of you guys. I need some inspiration (or someone to commiserate with).

Great Job Guys, honestly I haven't been able to committ to anything for this year's Lent. I'm totally all over the place, literally, spiritualy, physically and emotionally.

Ty I'd commiserate you but I'm not really sure I know what the word means. Sounds scary.

It's a struggle! My Lenten sacrifice was small scale yet I lose focus and resort to my old ways. On a positive note I pray more and will continue to do so!
